Whose all in for this. Zack Wylde taking over for Dime. I was totally against it one minute and then all in the next minute. Won’t mind hearing some Pantera live again. Won’t be the same but it will still kick ass. I’m convinced

The De Tomaso Pantera was my favorite Matchbox car as a kid.
As for the Pantera reunion...can you call it a reunion with only 2 original members? Closer to a tribute.
I'm actually surprised Zakk is agreeing to do it with the bad blood between Phil and Dime/Vinnie...he and Dime were like brothers and a lot of people blamed Phil for Dime's death.
I used to love Pantera, but Phil lost me a few years ago. Now they exist as a good memory of a bygone era of music.Boo. And love Phil's crazy ass, but this isn't Pantera at all.
Not really Pantera, and they will market it as a tribute to the brothers. Zakk and Charlie were the best two guys they could really get to do this, and its probably time to do it. A lot of people have never heard these songs live, and Phil and Rex are still half of the classic Pantera lineup. Obviously miss Dime and Vinnie, but what else can you do. I am 100% in on this. Supposedly the family and Abbott camps are supportive of this, and I am thinking that Zakk would not do it unless they have given their blessing so to speak.
Saw Pantera in 1995 at the old Palmer Auditorium in Davenport. Wild and crazy show....on the "Far Beyond Driven" tour. Type O Negative was supposed to open but Peter Steele was sick I think....good times.
