NFL: Pacman's Season Over; Maybe his Career

I sustained an injury from rubber-necking at a multi-floor strip joint also. Ended my clubbing career.

"The neck injury that Dallas cornerback Adam “Pacmanâ€￾ Jones sustained at Pittsburgh is so serious, it has ended his 2009 season and could end his career, a league source said Wednesday."

mwitt, its worse then that for the boys.....

Keith Davis is listed as out for 2-4 weeks. So this begs the questions - what to do....Pat Watkins is out for the season, Roy Williams is out for the season.

Here's an idea tossed around a bunch last spring.

Move Henry back to safety and bring in the newly released Brian Kelly the former buc is still a pretty decent corner. Mike Jenkins is supposed to be hit or miss the rest of the season on his availability. This is patchwork, but, it also may lay the foundation for him making the move for good.

Mixed feelings on this...

- Never good to see a guy get his career ended
- It was a crappy play
- If I was forced to pick a person in the league this had to happen to, it likely bit the right guy

As for Dallas - they're on life support both injury wise and performance wise. Sunday night will be interesting.

He actually played what I felt was his best defensive game on Sunday, that will certainly be missed. In the return game, he was quite poor. I think conditions impacted that - but he still looked rusty there.

Perhaps conditions made him look better on defense too.

I never would wish an injury like that to anyone but man hard to feel bad for a guy that is so careless with his life off the field you can't help but to think that karma finally bit him.

That's a diplomatic way of summarizing my feeling as well. I don't want to see anyone get hurt, but I'm ready for him to be forgotten about by the game he has disrespected.

At least he left the game making it back on the field.
