Owners pass a resolution to ratify a new 10-year CBA with a 31-0 vote. Oakland Raiders abstained.

Pressure is on the players now. If they don't vote to pass this CBA, they'll look like fools after their whole "We just want to play, owners won't let us" mentality during this lockout.

This is out in the last 10-15 minutes, so there are no links yet. But here are some tweets.

Resolution to vote is in hand, CEC/NFL execs will explain it to the group now, discuss and then vote will be taken.

The one team abstaining, according to @richeisen, was the Oakland Raiders.

Al Davis was too busy riding his pale horse and harvesting souls, I guess.

good. Let's get this show on the road. Get free agency started. Gonna be a busy weekend, I think.

Urlacher came out against the game, today, and I'm guessing nearly all the players feel the same as him. It's a loss of revenue for the league, but it's probably the right move

Looks like first day of new league year will be July 27, next Wednesday. That is when veteran free agency will open.

Teams can begin negotiating with but not sign their own free agents, draft picks and undrafted free agents on Saturday.
