OWH No Longer Recognizes Big 12

Today's Omaha World Herald included on their sports front page a big article on the Big 10's new logo - no surprise there. But along with the Big 10 logo they also included a display entitled "Other Major Conferences' Logos. The graphic display included the logos for the ACC, SEC, PAC 10, and the Big East. The Big 12 logo was conspiculously absent - no where to be found.

The utter pettiness of that newspaper's sports department never fails to amaze me.

They're from Nebraska...I considered them a third-rate news organization even before Nebby quit. Read the KC Star. Head and Shoulders ahead of the OWH.

The Rag and KC Star are horrible newspapers. Both are just little pieces of a conglomerate. The OWH is employee owned which I think gives it a huge advantage as a local paper.

And the conference is going to change names... so whatever.
