Is anyone else outraged that we get the opportunity to play in at least a decent bowl, but if we dont have Dish we cannot watch it?

Could just buy a ticket and head to AZ.....
Could just go to a sports bar
Could find a friend that has NFL network
Could watch it on any Sprint phone (has NFL network for free)
Could ***** and moan and just read the box score online

You have options

oh and this has been covered about 1000 times.

You missed the outrage a week ago when everyone else figured it out.

But look at it this way....it sure and the hell beats the TV bowl coverage we got the last three years!

Nope. Most people have either a friend or a bar/restaurant near by they can watch it, if they still have mediacom.

Plus Ill be there :)

GO TO THE GAME. This game pretty much has only local interest. No one would be watching in say, West Virginia, even if it was on regular channel. So I am not bothered by the lack of TV since the people that care about the game...Cyclone Fans...should be going.

Get the Dish dude!

Mediacom is dropping Fox? I heard maybe CBS?

Directv is the shiznit.

Honestly im ******, and thats only because my sister decided to get married on the 31st in LA so im ****ed, but trust me I will find the game somewhere

Sinclair owns the local fox affiliate here in Des Moines, they will pull this channel as of January 1 if a settlement is not reached.

This is another reason why I would have rather played in the Texas Bowl. We could have had a larger viewing audience, not to mention a pro stadium to play in and closer to our recruiting base. And by closer I mean IN the recruiting base.

Holy crap...if they make me miss 24 I will seriously burn someones house down.

I forgot how easy it was for people to just drop everything, take time off of work and buy plane tickets to go out and watch the game!

Geeze, it all sounds so simple when you put it that way!

Who cares about the pro stadium? Houston is crap compared to Phoenix. That bowl sucks. No one in Houston cares. And whoever REALLY wants to watch that game will find a way. I swear, ISU could get invited to a BCS bowl and people would find a reason to b#tch.

Your right about local interest. Please note however, Southern Miss vs. Mid Tennesse state is on ESPN

Thank you, I was just stating my view on the lack of TV coverage as I have a newborn I'm choosing to stay home with and its turned into a challenge as to if I'm a real fan or not.

I have a young child at home and so I'm going alone to the game and leaving the wife and child at home....just sayin'.
