This may have been discussed and I missed it:

There's a lot of talk about how OU is firing on all cylinders and has improved since our first meeting. I'm not arguing that, but, let's talk about how much our beloved Cyclones have also improved.

I'll start: Xavier Hutchinson has stepped up!

We are going to punch them in the mouth! Heavy dose of Breece and the TEs. Rattler is going to be so confused and sore from getting hit.

I think it's pretty obvious that whether or not either team is improved or who improved more, in the first meeting, neither team really played that good. I think our play in the 4th qtr was the difference but that wasn't the prettiest game by any stretch.

Word to the land thieves. First, we have gotten worse so don’t worry about us, you can trot your backup out and beat us by 30. So party it up the whole week no problems.

Second, do you ever question your ancestors for settling on that crappy red dirt that grows weeds and snakes mostly. I don’t care if it’s free. It’s like being handed a Yugo. Some things are even a bad deal when they are free.

And Brock is now appears to be playing with a confidence level that as an opposing DC I would not want to deal with. At all.

I think it's mostly people that haven't actually watched OU throughout the year seeing that A. They have a freshman QB, B. They lost a couple early games, C. They are winning big now.

Conclusion: Rattler is figuring it out and getting better, as a result OU is vastly improved.

Reality: 1. They started the year playing better teams, now they are playing the bottom of the conference. The exception is OSU, but they were already pretty decimated physically, and that Texas loss seemed to break them mentally. 2. Watch Rattler vs. ISU and KSU. He was very good, but when he got some pressure he made some questionable throws. Watch Rattler vs. Baylor. He was very good , but when he got some pressure he made some bad throws. The idea that Rattler struggled early in the year is completely false. He was really good. He happened to be playing ISU and KSU at full strength. The idea that he's lights out now is also false. He made some really bad decisions vs. BU and got away with them. I'm sure as any QB in his first year starting he has improved as the year has gone on. But I think people are using the lazy explanation of a Freshman QB "figuring it out."

They got some guys back on DL and RB. So they are better. But I'm not buying that they are night and day different from when ISU played them. I guess we'll find out.

What about a Le Car. Would you take that if it was free?

The whole narrative that Oklahoma is playing better and that no one wants to face them is funny. Are they playing better? Yes, that's a fact. Their defense is not missing as many tackles and stopping people. On offense they are running the football better. Sure, they have played the bottom half of the Big 12, besides a injury riddled OSU; however they proved to be the superior team in all those contest. Here is my point. ISU doesn't care! Three years ago we beat a better OU team with a less talented ISU team in Norman. 2 years ago we lose early in the year by 10 to a more talented OU team at home. Last year we are a 2 pt conversion away from winning again in Norman! This year we beat them at home. My point is I don't care how good they are, or how well they are playing; if we play our best we can beat them. We definitely aren't afraid because they have Oklahoma across their chest. Those days are long gone. So Oklahoma is better, who cares, so are we! Go Clones!!!

I don't even know why we should bother showing up. Everything I've heard is that OU is going to walk all over us and how overrated we are. They are sooo improved and had TWO starters out when we played earlier. Imagine that! Having to play a game with that many guys out! I'm surprised they even made the trip.
