By the way, with Fred's recovery time, I think bringing on a guy like Otz that can basically head up the recruiting efforts for a couple months is huge.

Absolutely! Many people underestimate the need to bring in somebody that knows Fred, has his complete trust and respect, and can be off and running right away. Very few people knew about Fred's surgery date at the time, but now that it's public, it certainly helps (hard to believe it was even necessary) to stress why the Otz hiring was so critical.
