Did anyone see the footage of the elevator accident in NYC? This high rise with very high rent has had this elevator that has had problems for a while but the building never did anything about fixing it. Well a 30 year old man was literally crushed to death by the elevator when the doors opened and he tried getting out but the elevator fell. It's just awful to see. I won't post it but there is a NY Post article that shows the footage. I have a feeling his family will sue the pants off that building and make bank.

There's no gore in the vid if anyone wants to go look for it.

Pretty horrible way to go and will make you think twice while getting on or off an elevator. However, if you watch closely you can see that the elevator is already on it's way down when this guy decided to try to step off.

Why talk about the cardiovascular issues that will kill probably around half of us when we can talk about freak accidents like a piano being dropped on your head on Park Avenue.

Can you imagine being the other people that were still in the elevator when that happened?! Good lord. And the guy that actually made it off before it fell? Horrible.
