A while back I saw a Gaelic Storm concert on DirecTV's HD channel. I really enjoyed the Irish/rock music.
Well, last night they played People's at Court Ave. in Des Moines. It was one of the best shows that I've seen in a long, long time. If you ever get a chance, check these guys (and a girl) out. The music is great, and the lead singer could be a comedian if he wanted.
By the way, the new People's is fantastic. It's a great music venue, greatly surpassing the one in Ames.
