OSU v UM Axed

Wisconsin losing last weekend makes it easier for the BIG to change the rules. No team on the team on the west would be affected.

CFP will still take them I'm sure. However, sounds like there is a chance on the 19th that OSU could play Iowa.

I read that Maryland was the back up plan and Rutgers would take a bye.... LOL. Whatever they need to do to get that 6th win.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but feel like it's bit of a misnomer when media members say Ohio State is "clearly a top-4 team."

Could they be? Sure, it's possible. They've got a lot of talent.

But I haven't seen anything from what they've done this year that would "clearly" put them above the rest in the chase.

The BiG will blink and let them in the championship game so they can piss pound NW. There's no way they're going to cut their own throats and stand by some arbitrary rule they set a couple months ago that would keep their flagship out of the CFP.

Besides, tOSU deserves it....the BiG has 10 teams with 2 wins. They've run a veritable gauntlet of quality football. Where else do you see such parity? Really, this whole debate of whether they belong in the CFP is silly. We should just hand them the 'ship and forgo all the formalities, because tOSU!

I mean... the Big 10 is absolutely going to either change the rules, or scrap someone else's game to get OSU a game this weekend, no? And ESPN/CFP will lap it up and get the Buckeyes in the playoffs. No standards in that league. Would love for them to surprise us for a change.
