And did BYU no favors in the last 5 (@ UT (last week), @WVU, ISU, OU, @OSU)Wow! How the heck does OSU manage to get three of the newbies for their last three games?
Two very winnable road games isn't a bad thing. If we can be in control of our destiny heading into Manhattan this will be a very successful season.Yea, I mentioned this in another thread. And of the four newbies, it seems like UH, UCF, and Cincy are bad with BYU being average. We only get one of the three scrubs and both our newby games are on the road.
I would say wildly successful in that eventTwo very winnable road games isn't a bad thing. If we can be in control of our destiny heading into Manhattan this will be a very successful season.
Absolutely. When you look back a month or more ago, I doubt anybody saw this coming.I would say wildly successful in that event
Yeah, at the start of the season with all the gambling scandal losses, I thought we needed to go 3-0 leading into conference just to get to a bowl. The growth of this young team has been extremely impressive.Absolutely. When you look back a month or more ago, I doubt anybody saw this coming.
If the 'Clones can win two more games, Campbell has to be considered for Coach of the Year. BTW, I don't think the Conference should give OU or UT any consideration along those lines.Yeah, at the start of the season with all the gambling scandal losses, I thought we needed to go 3-0 leading into conference just to get to a bowl. I'm not really disagreeing with what you are saying, but I kinda liked our draw this year. At UCF or Houston late in the season is probably great for the players to get somewhere warm, but I always feel like it throws us off for some reason. Those teams always seem like they have speed to burn. Shifting gears to a speed team at their house in warm weather after slogging out some cold weather games always makes me nervous.Yea, I mentioned this in another thread. They were talking about the 4 expansion teams this morning on the B12 channel, and they both thought that it would take the four schools a few years to build up their talent and depth level to compete after moving up, just like it did TCU and Baylor. That while those schools were good playing at a high level one week, they were not forced to do that the next week, and that is what is dragging them down.I'm not really disagreeing with what you are saying, but I kinda liked our draw this year. Outside of Oklahoma, our road game schedule this year isn't too shabby. And, despite the end result, we were in that game until the wheels came off in the 2nd quarter.
I could see UCF and Houston coming on strong in the next couple of years.

If the cowboys and cyclones close season 4-0, what will Kirk heibstreit say when we meet each other in Dallas.
They're already OuT as far most of us are concerned. If the 'Clones can win two more games, Campbell has to be considered for Coach of the Year. BTW, I don't think the Conference should give OU or UT any consideration along those lines.
You may be right but I can't cheer for OU. We have to win out anyways so, though I am no mathematician, I like our odds to be in the championship game winning out.Unless ISU can win out and go 8-1, it would be better for the Cyclones to have OU win their game with OSU, thereby giving us the tie breaker for them if we end up tied for the 2nd team.
KU has to play ISU and KSU
UT has to play KSU and ISU
KSU has to play KU, UT and ISU.
We have KSU, UT and KU.
If KU wins this weekend, they only have Cincinnati, KSU and TT left on their schedule, but they already have two conference losses.
