Open Practice

I just called the number for more info in the e-mail I was sent about it, and the lady said it was for students only.

I call upon all Cyclone Fanatic ISU students to be there if their schedule permits! It is @ 4:30 pm today and it is free. Free food, fun, prizes, and Cyclone football. What else could you want?

anyone else going to try to go who is not a student? I am only 27...come on i just want to see some football already! Don't think I can make it till next thursday.

Just so you know, it doesn't start until 5:30. They're opening the gates at 4:30.

Notes from practice: Meyer did not throw a bad pass, only incompletion was a result of Flynn just dropping it. Defense got good pressure on Meyer on a couple of plays. Not sure if its a sign of a suprisingly good defensive line or bad o-line, time will tell. Josh Johnson is legit. Tore off about a 30 yard run against the first team, and probably could have gone for more. Was not too impressed with Arnaud, but he's only a frosh, he will develop. All in all, thought we were looking sharp and am totally pumped. Exactly a week from now, we will all be in Jack Trice!

I forgot to mention this earlier, but I have a kind of stupid question.

At Thursday's open practice, they had a raffle drawing to give away a bunch of various football prizes. Against my notoriously bad luck, I won a football signed by McCarney and the team.

What do I do with it? It's just sitting in its protective bag in my closet for the moment. Do I buy a case for it or something? Do they need to be protected or can I just prop it up?

Or maybe I'll just wait until we with the national championship and then sell it for lots of money on ebay...
