then the sad slow march to August begins

My wife is getting downright giddy about getting me to give up the remote on weekends ... maybe I'll finish the basement :dull:

I know, I hate getting so pumped for football that I am anxious for the summer to be over. But I know I'm going to be more excited this year than I have in a few years due to the improvements we showed at the end of the season, and the Vegas trip.

By the way jer, do you just really like Twin Bings or something? I'm a bit puzzled by your choice of sig line.

oh yeah, I should change that ... and probably Miss Santa too (although I might let her stay)

I was just about to change my christmas-themed signature a while back when Brainhos asked what a "twin bing" was in the NET2. I know what they are, but I wiki'd it just for grins and the entry seemed appropriate for a signature line.

Does this take into account the Pro Bowl and Senior Bowl?

No. I'll consider watching the senior bowl out of desperation ... but comeon the pro-bowl? maybe the challenges before hand, it was always fun watching Sapp press 400 pounds like it was a walk in the park.

Tooo bad REAL football ends tonight. The NFL is ok, but head to head, id take college over pro anyday.

The challenges are the part I watch...

agreed. college sports are by far better than any pro sport. in college they are still trying to prove something, while in the pro they are already making the money. pro athletes like ricky williams, randy moss, ect. just make me sick. only 1 quarter of meaningful football left for me. Here comes the longest 7 1/2 months of any fan of college football.

This year should be easier to get through. Conference bball, selection sunday, march madness, the masters, and the olympics.....also insert your own favorites and we should be good to go.

I like them both. And comeon, the Superbowl is the greatest sporting event on the planet.

College football is great... But overall the NFL is a better product and better competition.

I can sit and watch almost ANY NFL game. The same can't be said for College football.
You can tell us with a straight face that you can watch an Atlanta/ Jets or Dolphins/Raiders game end to end?!? I hope you're severly drunk when doing so.

and you'd watch some crappy college game over it?

in a battle of crappy games, I'd choose the nfl.

(this totally disregarding any year ISU is rather craptastic - the alma mater doesn't count)

I dont know what it is, but i cant stand rich, spoiled athletes. I love college FB and BB but theres no heartor love in pro sports. Its all about the money.
