Whoever decided China should host the Olympics is heading for "epic fail." Between the pollution, ridiculous policies on spectaters, terrorist threats and the fact that China seems to think it really matters if they get the most gold medals it's really putting a damper on the "fun" of the Olympics imo.

Mark my words...there will be ALOT of judging question marks in these games. Some athletes are gonna get royal screw jobs by the Chinese I believe.

Explain in more detail. I thought the judges were representatives from varying countries and the top and bottom scores were thrown out. I don't believe the host country is in charge of officials/judges I thought that was all taken care of by the IOC.

I heard something a week ago or so that the Chinese are already pulling some crap with the American gymnastic team. SOmething along the lines of the facility they were supposed to practice in mysteriously is unavailable and that they have to practice in a sub-par facility. I have no doubt that the Chinese are doing everything possible to win the medal count just so they can say they beat the Americans.
