Bill Self gives Hilton some love. This is an article from last season as Kansas prepared for the game in Ames. Its a nice short read and has some good comments from KU staff/players.

We're gonna have to win a few games at the beginning of the season before people do that I think.. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. All the normal supporters will be there since Brackins is back, but other than that, well.. let's just hope the crowd is decent.

Like I said, though... go on a streak during the non-conference schedule, win a couple Big XII games at the beginning.. that'll get some people back.

I've only been here for 2 years, and there have been a few times (Texas last year is one) where I've gone "whoa" for how loud/high energy it gets. It's tough (for me at least) to imagine that for entire game...although it sure would be fun to watch/be a part of.

That was a good article. I've always had respect for Bill Self. He seems to choose his words wisely. That's impressive how he has respect for Hilton, and told his players how tough it is to play here.

We need to get rid of the students who come to hilton just to tag along with their friends rather than to cheer for the cyclones. Thats my 1st step to bring back Hilton Magic. 2nd. Only true cyclone fans should attend the games, not chicago kids, because everybody knows they don't give a crap anyways. p.s. i'm joking
