Have they always delivered? I was on grub hub tonight browsing around and saw they were now offering online ordering and delivery so I went for it. Nice having a place like that that will deliver again, hasn't really been available since WestCyd wings shut down.

Food needed a little reheat and its expensive, but it was pretty quick delivery across town and food is good.
 
I think they just started when they started carrying pizza. I think Cafe Northwest still delivers, too, but I'm not sure.
 
We used to go to Okoboji in Ankeny all the time. But after several times of under cooked wings and gawd aweful prices, we dont go anymore
 
I didn't see any pizza on the grub hub ordering menu. It's definitely nice having a place that will deliver a burger though in Ames again.
 
Does Es Tas still deliver? I used to get a good burger from their every so often.

I'm not seeing it on their online menu now, either? They had it as recently as a couple of months ago - I think they were using Pasquale's Pizza or something similar.
 
I think the owners of Okoboji Grill need to watch a little more bar rescue. Their menu is just TOO big, they literally have everything and it takes forever to get your food in the restaurant. Your Quality goes way down and Food prices go way up when you have such a large menu.
 
I think they have the best spinach artichoke dip in town. If I could find a recipe that is as good, I probably wouldn't care if I went back.
 
One of the worst places I've ever tried (at least the one on SE 14th in DSM). Not too sure what the appeal is.

I'm not sure about the differences in locations, but we used to go for MNF every week in Ames and I got the chicken strip basket as their house made batter was amazing. We were in DSM one weekend and the family was putting in an order there so I put in for the basket, and it was completely different and horrible tasting.
 
Seems like Okoboji Grill fails to realize it's in the Applebee's category in terms of quality, and have not adjusted their pricing accordingly.

Same here. That Ankeny one has been on a fast downhill slide for the last few years.

Exactly. It's sad when I'll go to a chain like Applebee's before a locally-owned place but their prices are just too dang high for the basic stuff you get.
 
:shocked:And the worst part is the pictures in the menu aren't even of Okoboji Lake!!!!
