Oh my, who saw this one coming??? If that brain-child Beebe can't get this mess straightened out, it clearly is the beginning of the end for the Texas Ten. When the networks no longer can justify spending money on less than stellar matchups, the conference is in deep, deep water. And he thinks he can negotiate a HUGE contract for the remaining conference schools. Yeah, right!

By the way, this article is in an Oklahoma newspaper and not in a Nebraska or Colorado newspaper:

What's the point of this thread?

The problem is this logic is very much in the now... Oklahoma State a heavyweight? Imagine if somebody wrote that 10 years ago. And Baylor vs. TCU as a marquee game? The 2002 me, LOLs at this.

The TV networks put a bunch of ACC and Big East football, when those conferences are crap. Thing is, some of those schools have big fanbases and used to not suck as much.

You spout this stuff like you are a Nebraska fan or something, and if that's the case, go to Big10fanatic.com, and enjoy having Indiana getting the same $$ as Nebraska, and beating you guys some years. And say goodbye to ever winning a conference again.

For the better part of the last decade Nebraska didn't bring quality matchups to the networks either so I don't really buy what this guy is saying. The South matchups were always marquee and will continue to be such.

A bitter Nebraska fan.....I'm shocked!

When is this ******bag going to get banned? Endless posts and an avatar about the Texas conference which his team isn't in.

Is he trying to remind us that the demise of ISU athletics is imminent?

Seriously, why is this ***hole so obsessed with the B12?

Barry Tramel was predicting the B12's demise a year ago and it did not happen. He has been essentially wrong on everything regarding the B12 and its future. Not surprising that he now has to ***** about the conference's FB inventory when, in fact, it was not that much better with Colorado and Nebraska in recent years.

Please. Check out the big 10 games the networks routinely put on t.v. The Big12 has equivalent quality top to bottom and a higher top-side at the moment. They will be able to find plenty of worthy Big12 games.

You are really a sad little man to continue visiting this site with that stupid "Texas Ten" logo. If you are so happy with Nebraska's move, go visit the appropriate nebraska/big10 boards. Your continued presence here reeks of insecurity.

I'm going to miss Nebraska getting their *** kicked in marque matchups against South teams.

Another vote for the banhammer here.

Beebe did tell all the schools to schedule good out of conferance games in September for a reason. That is why teams are going to start getting big games going once there contracted games run out. This guy who wrote this is a fool. He did no research at all other than call someone and ask if he could schedule enough quality games.

Dude, move on. You're in a new conference now. I don't know what you have to gain by rooting for our demise (and it WOULD be our demise, not the Texas schools that you dislike so much).

Worst thread of the day. Wingback is NOT a SOULja! I hope one day I can be a mod, and help make this a site full of souljas that rep hard, not these guys trying to hate all the time.

He should worry more about this:

Pelini confirms reorganization of his staff - College football- NBC Sports
Nebraska coach Bo Pelini has confirmed the reorganization of his coaching staff, making Tim Beck his offensive coordinator and announcing four new assistants.Pelini told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he has hired Indiana assistant Corey Raymond to coach the secondary, Ohio assistant Ross Els to coach linebackers and Massachusetts prep coach Rich Fisher to coach wide receivers. Pelini later announced that staff intern John Garrison has been promoted to assistant and will work with Barney Cotton on the offensive line and coach tight ends.
Pelini, who spoke by phone while on a golf vacation in Palm Springs, Calif., declined to say whether former offensive coordinator Shawn Watson and former receivers coach Ted Gilmore resigned or were fired. Pelini announced former secondary coach Marvin Sanders' resignation for personal reasons in a statement two weeks ago.
