*** Official TCU vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Thanks Rulzzz!

Not sure I have ever felt so many mixed emotions before a game.

I started college in 1979. Students were always working on getting the stadium renamed. The current staff has embraced his legacy and I am so grateful for that.

Go Cyclones!

As I got the all this Jack material ready for the gameday thread I got really choked up. I always want us to win every game but this is a game we need to win because we are honoring Jack.

I have been re-reading a book we have about Jack and crying a lot. Had a chance to see the original letter once too. Sad there is so much hate in this world, but this is a weekend that hopefully brings out the best in people.

I full understand the other side of this statement but it has felt since they announced it that there is just no way we lose this game.

Iowa State wins 20-17. Offense continues to show life and defense reverts back to the standard we have been accustomed to watch over the last few years.

People realize as the game concludes that was the final score of Trice’s last game. Everyone then knows Jack was looking down proudly at the field tonight
