Yes, we lost a game. But I think everyone is forgetting that we lost to a number 6 team whos quarterback is thrown into the same category as Geno Smith and Matt Barkley.

It wasnt just a quarterback a problem, it was an all around team situation. But putting down players is not what this forum is for. I think they feel bad enough as it is.

We had a chance to win and yeah we kind of blew it. Kansas state played the better game, but we are going to make the same adjustments we did after texas tech going into TCU.

4-2 seems like a pretty good start to me, so I think before we start blowing up this forum we should step back and realize that we have a good football team that is growing and we just need to be patient.

Knew it would be a tough game to win, it was. Learn from it and move on. Think we have a shot next week.

I like it better when I take a deep breath... and then yell **** YEAH!!!! Unfortunately that day isn't today.

We have issues. Our QB play is downright embarrassing, our O-line is questionable, and our receivers are streaky.

But I still think we are a 7-8 win team. The only game left that scares me is Oklahoma. This season is going to end well.

I thought the D played very well considering the opponents time of possession and grind it out style. We had shots to late to win the game late that were thrown away (no pun intended) by QB inaccuracy. Am I throwing in the towel on the season? No, not at all, but not addressing the issue of inconsistent QB play would be disappointing form our coaching staff. I trust that CPR and the staff will hold players accountable for their performance and make the necessary adjustments before the next game.

I may be in the minority on this one. But I think the D did play pretty well. However, K-State made 3rd down look to easy. We cannot continue to give up 9 3rd down conversions. Gotta get them off the field.

Also, agree with OP. Tough to beat #6 team in the country no matter where you play them. Made some mistakes but we'll learn and it will help us win more games later in the season.

Had we played extremely well but just come up short in a close game against a highly ranked opponent, then there would be less angst on the board in general. But when one unit plays this poorly and yet you still are within 1 score, it's just frustrating. Hard to be satisfied with a loss, even to a really good team, when you feel like you could have performed so much better.

A few weeks ago, I thought Oklahoma State might be a much tougher game than I think it is now. Anyone else looking at that UT-OU score and saying "Wtf?"

there number 6 for a reason, im not ashamed of they we played yeah there are some things that need to be fixed but if you look at the big picture untill out last two drives we played a hell of game. im so proud of cyclonenation making jack trice as loud as it was. ive never heard it that loud even at the okie state game. so lets put on our hard hats go back to work monday
