Thought that our boy Georges deserves his own thread that we can use throughout his season / career rather than have 10 loosely connected threads from week to week.

I can't wait until the Pacers come out here to Denver to play in January. If only I had Big Georges in my possession.

Paul George is listed as "questionable" for tonight's game You would think that would bode well for Niang getting some minutes, but Paul George was out for their last game and Niang didn't get into the game.


Btw, I hate that Paul George plays for the Pacers because whenever his name pops up I instantly think it's Georges.

The Pacers designated Rakeem Christmas to their Fort Wayne D League team yesterday. It doesn't guarantee anything for Georges as far as minutes are concerned, but I do think it's interesting that if they wanted to send one of their bigs down to the D League, it wasn't him.

Georges got 16 minutes tonight in a 116-96 loss to the Suns. Modest stat line - 2 points, 2 rebounds, and two assists. But he didn't look lost out there. Indy's sixth man CJ Miles left the game with a knee injury; it could open the door for some more meaningful minutes for Niang.

Georges came in with 7 minutes to play in a blowout vs the Warriors tonight. 0-3 so far but has played tough defense & forced a couple turnovers.

Garbage time is better than no time at all. That game was over before the tipoff. The Pacers were missing Paul George and Myles Turner.
