*** Official NBA draft thread ***

I know he's a talented kid, but I would have a huge issue with using a Top 3 pick for LaMelo Ball. Just his dad is enough to give me pause but LaMelo has had such a small number of competitive games in recent years and seems disinterested in defense. The T'wolves have a tough choice to make.

I don't see how the Celtics can give Hayward until Thursday to decide on whether he is going to test the market or stay, unless they are working deal to move him. Since the gruesome injury, he really hasn't lived up to expectations.

I'm in agreement with the poster above about LaMelo. Sure, he is talented as heck, but he has bust written all over him. Not won't be a good nba player bust, but not worthy of a #1 pick type of bust. Overall, this draft is kind of meh, except for Tyrese, lol.

Of course my Wolves would get the #1 pick in one of the worst drafts ever.

No sure bets at all. All big risks.

The highlights they show of LeMelo are so bad it's hard to tell his skill level.

Most big city YMCAs have more competitive looking games going on.

When Hayward has been fully healthy/recovered, he’s been as good as expected. He just hasn’t been healthy much. The Celtucs must be working on a sign-and-trade that includes player/s to be drafted by a team that traded their 2019 and/or 2021 picks.

I hope the announcers bring up the fact that TH helped Iowa State win the Big 12 Tournament in 2019. You know, for good pub.

Also, no poll?

  1. Minnesota Timberwolves
  2. Golden State Warriors
  3. Charlotte Hornets
  4. Chicago Bulls
  5. Cleveland Cavaliers
  6. Atlanta Hawks
  7. Detroit Pistons
  8. New York Knicks
  9. Washington Wizards
  10. Phoenix Suns
  11. San Antonio Spurs
  12. Sacramento Kings
  13. New Orleans Pelicans
  14. Boston Celtics (via MEM)
  15. Orlando Magic

I got Haliburton going... #1.

Would be freaking sweet.

Just kidding, I have him going #6 to ATL.

Northern Cali is talkin' TH:

Golden St #2 pick; man, I forgot their league-worst record. But if they get Thompson & Curry back, they won't have #2 pick again.

I think the Warriors may go with Wiseman at number 2. Would fit the starting 5 really well, unless of course Charlotte pulls off a trade to get the 1st pick.

They might take wiseman I guess. Their bigs are pretty suspect outside of green
