I'll get it started. I've seen this before. Iowa whips up on an inferior opponent and ISU looks terrible against a decent football team and loses. This drives up the point spread and ISU easily covers or wins.

I still think this will be a close game. Worried about the Mabin vs Lazard Matchup. Mabin will have to play a lot better than he did week 1. Good thing is that was by far his worst game. He has shown to be a decent to good corner in the past. Hopefully he shakes that off.

In the end, I think Iowa uses their running game and play action pass to score enough to win.

Still not sure why most fans think Iowa will cover the point spread. History has shown that they will not. ISU will play a lot better this week since they really couldn't play much worse than last week. Iowa did not dominate Miami of Ohio the way the score indicated. This will be a much closer game than most people think.

I'll go with 38-35. We miss a FG at the end that would send it to OT. 3 touchdowns for Lazard and we play much better, but the running game wears us down and they score the go ahead td late. We will once again be excited for the future.

I do think ISU will clean up some of their stupid mistakes and play better against Iowa, however, this game should not be that close. If UNI can wear our defense out by the 4th quarter, Iowa will have our defense worn down by halftime.

We'll be more competitive than Miami of Ohio was, but not a whole lot more.

Based on the ineptness I witnessed in person with the crowd on our side - and first road game in front of 70K+ rabid clone haters - Iowa 56 ISU 10. I am all for optimism and giving the new coach a break - but we have zero talent beyond Lazard and Warren,no O line and D will be spent by 2nd quarter. I have been watching this debacle of a FB program for 40+ years - no respite in sight this year! Hope I am totally wrong but their was no life in team Saturday night = like they were waiting to screw up but didn't know when.
