This is how I expected it to heppen. Stick with them the entire first half, then slip away in the 2nd half. Maybe you guys are forgetting that Dook is ranked fifth in the nation?

Rough outting. I feel better after this game than the Cal game though. Duke is a much better team, and if we had played reasonably well to start both halves, it would have been pretty close.
Need to value each possession, and obviously rebound. Those two things stick out for me as ways to take these guys from good to great.

Who did defend tonight? Lucca wasn't the issue. Team defense was pathetic. Every single player had something to do with how awful it was.
Lucca needs to come off of the bench... he could be our designated zone buster... he shouldn't be starting.

Then you tell me who. I didnt mind his play tonight. He did have about 5 turnovers. But I'm pretty sure he is a pointguard that can run a team.

Was very impressed with DGs ability to handle the ball and get it to the rim tonight. Wish Brackins could've been on the receiving end a little more but Duke was doing a great job on D.
Disagree... If I came away with anything tonight it was more confidence in DG.

when he was playing and gaurding nolan, he beat him off the dribble nearly everytime it seemed. which leads to open looks for others when others have to help.

He had a nice game, but had problems gettign the ball to the shooters at times. Credit Duke, but he has to get the ball to shooters.

Offensively we are still motionless. To much dribbling and not enough passing. The problem with our rebounding is the defense. We find ourselves out of position defensively which leads to being out of position when we need to rebound. Does anyone else sense chemistry issues or is just me?
They have GOT to change the offense. No motion, no screens.....just hope Garrett or Colvin can beat their man off the dribble. Way too much dribbling, but that is to be expected when there is zero motion. Whatever happened to setting screens, moving without the ball, passing, etc. Frustrating.
