CR roads mostly fine, same with Marion. County is trash (or at least Blairsferry out to Palo is) hard packed snow. 380 and 100 were just wet
Yeah, but just for this particular calendar date.
Specific date precip records are kinda sketch, since it obviously doesn't snow every single Feb 16, or Jan 2 or whatever.
Snow record could be 14" one day in January, and 0.7" the next, theoretically.
We haven’t seen him in this thread lately, my guess is that he’s out playing in the snow and making snow angels.
I don’t get into the big city very often, but had to make my way down tonight. The roads are ******.
My street hasn't been plowed yet, granted its a side street that only people who live on would use it. So not shocking.
If you see anatomically correct snowmen around Waukee, I don’t know who built them but they did a hell of a job.
Ames takes forever on side streets. Slower than any city I’ve lived in.
Yea, seems they hit the main roads/snow routes hard and leave the side streets. It’s maybe a bit extreme compared to other places. I live on a snow route in Ames and the plows are constant, it was down to wet pavement almost immediately after the snow stopped.

Ankeny has to be right up there with Ames, having lived in both.
WDM was so much better about it when I lived there.
Still some patches of ice on the insterstate.
