***Official 2019 Tailgate Tour Thread***

I’ve been to a few of these. Always a great time but there’s always a couple cringe worthy questions from the fans in the Q&A session. Luckily Walters does a great job as emcee and is able to mitigate some of the awkwardness.

Yeah, last year in CR there was at least one or two awkward moments. People like to pick on Prohm and ask strange questions to Jamie. It's a given.

I’ll admit I enjoy whatever stupid game they make the coaches play on the bus ;)

I specifically remember someone asking Prohm 2 summers ago “why didn’t we land Shakur Juiston?”

Another year someone complained to Pollard about parking at football games and how it’s hard to find a spot 1 hr before kickoff even though he has a B6 pass and is a donor.

I’m going to the Cedar Rapids stop this month, I’ll try and remember to update this post with any awkwardness.

Cyclone Feud was an awesome part of the tailgate tour. Seeing the personalities of the coaches and Jamie come out was outstanding. I always enjoyed Kevin Jackson and Jamie in the Feud. They had some hilarious moments. Unfortunately, they moved it to another event and I'm not confident they even put it on YouTube to be able to watch it.
 
A good question if someone is looking for Jamie question ideas: BOE (Band out East) made the ISU marching band sit way up at the top of the stadium for the football game last year. Will ISU give BOE similar or worse treatment this fall in Ames? I hope so.
