Got a great feeling about this year! Can't wait to see the numbers Yelich puts up this year. Sad to see Kratz go. Hopefully Jimmy and Jeremy come back soon, and Corey's injury isn't too serious. World Series here we come!!! FEAR THE BEER!!!

I was trying to find this thread last night! Can't wait for the season! Pitching is going to be an adventure, but this team can hit well enough that hopefully defense is optional.

Still a lot of talent there. Central should be a great race. Good look to the Crew. Today comes in behind only the first 2 days of March Madness for me and far as best sports days of the year.
 
And I don't know who makes the Baseball schedules, but after that series is done, the Cardinals play 11 games, and then play the Brewers again 3 games b ack in Milwaukee, and then 3 games after that play the Brewers 3 games back in St Louis !! 10 games in the first 24 ?!?
 
I hadn't kept up on this but what exactly is going on with Knebel and Jeffries? Jeffries was solid last season though Knebel did struggle.

Knebel has an elbow injury and could possibly miss the entire season. Jeffress is on the 10-day IL, but should be back sometime in the next week or so.
 
Good for Jeffries if he can get back to how he was last year. They'll need him to bolster the pen. I know Knebel struggled last year but it'd help to have a guy with experience.

They released the news today that Knebel is having Tommy John surgery and is done for the year. They will need to spend some moolah and go get an out getter. The chips are in, but it wouldn’t hurt to go get some more to add to the pot.
