***Official 2017 Transfer Thread***

Top remaining transfers

* DeJon Jerreau, PG, UMass
* Jalen Coleman, SG, Illinois
* Vance Jackson, SF, UConn
* Damien Jefferson, SF, New Mexico
* Jethro Tshisumpa, C, Arizona St
* Zach Lofton, SG, Texas State

From that list, I'm still intrigued by Lofton. (Note: Texas Southern, sted of Texas State).

SWAC POY, 16.8 ppg in 2016-17, 14.2 career scoring average, although 3pt%, apg and spg are underwhelming. I think he's sit 1, play 2.

I believe he graduated and is available immediately.

He should be, as his new school will be his 4th (Illinois State, Minnesota (never played, dismissed) and Texas State). I'm guessing that people are pausing a bit over the Minnesota dismissal and the amount of schools. I don't think the reason for the Minnesota situation was ever publicly disclosed.

Myers and Muhammad are intriguing names

Wes Myers
6-2 190lb guard
16.9 ppg 4.5 rpg 1.6 apg 36% 3 pt shooter

Rashad Muhammad
6-6 180lb guard
13.5 ppg 3.1 rpg 0.9 apg. 36% 3 pt shooter. Sat out 2015-16 at Miami after transferring from San Jose State. Dismissed from team before 2016 season started.

I looked into him earlier. He's a bit of a head case and his grades are ass. Doesn't seem like a guy Prohm would go after but who knows.

Seems like a smart route for him would be juco for a year then be a 3 for 3 guy in 2018.

Saw Jaleel Hogan pop back up on the VerbalCommits transfer list

Did some digging and found he's no longer going to UAB so back on the market

6-7 260 lb forward
15.2 ppg 5.8 rpg 1.0 apg 1.0 bpg
0 3 pointers attempted but shot 59% from 2.

Sit 1 play 1

Intriguing late option.

@CBB_Central It has been confirmed that Deontae Hawkins is no longer committed to Boston College. Now the top grad transfer on the market.

I bet he already knows where he's headed. Plus, wasn't there a rumor that Illinois State was blocking his teammate MiKyle McIntosh from Iowa State? I'd imagine he'd have that same restriction

I can't recall Prohm showing interest in anyone even close to questionable to this point and I don't think he will, especially if it's an attitude issue.

Are we still looking to fill those last 2 schollies? I know Prohm mentioned waiting for a grad transfer, but there can't be much left out there at this point for 2017. I also haven't heard us be tied to anyone even remotely as of late.

There's one grad transfer out there that we've been linked to. He'd be a rotational guy if we get him, not a huge impact player but he'd help IMO

Jarreau. 6-5 guard. 9.8 ppg 3.6 rpg 4.5 apg in 24.4 minutes per game sit 1 play 3

Gresham. 6-9 forward. 3.3 ppg 3.2 rpg 1.0 blocks in 12 min per game. Sit 1 play 3.

Both originally from New Orleans.

These two are still on the market. Don't know if we'd want to use two scholarships on sit out kids but an intriguing option
