***Offical NBA Regular Season Thread***

Possibly. Got to find the right partner though. One with a good amount of draft picks. The Rockets might be a good destination.

Yea, that would make some sense. What other "contenders" would make a run at upgrading PG? I've got maybe Atlanta and Dallas. I can't see anybody else that would make much sense.

As a Lakers fan, I would like to see them get lottery, grab one of those 5 players from this class to put with Kevin Love. Build around those two moving forward.

Minnesota is going to regret favoring Rubio over Love when they did Love's extension. That was such a stupid decision.

Rumors circulating that the Pistons are looking to trade Greg Monroe and the Wizards might be the destination.

Joe Dumars really effed this up big time. He had Monroe and Drummond down low that could develop into the twin towers.

All he needed was a PG and a decent SG or SF. Instead he gives insane money to Josh Smith who plays PF, but has to play SF due to Monroe being PF and this completely messes up the team.

Josh Smith as a SF shoots 3's, and he is a 29% 3 point shooter. Josh Smith as a PF shoots almost no threes.

Dumars had the chance to go after Mayo, Iguodala, Kevin Martin, Monta Ellis, Tony Allen, JJ redick, Martell Webster, Trevor Ariza. All SG/SF, instead he chose to give money to a PF he did not need!

Whoever ends up with Monroe will be getting a steal.

Bulls face Deng and the Cavs tonight.

"It will probably be weird," Noah said after Monday night's overtime win over the Los Angeles Lakers. "It will probably be strange but I still want to kick his *** right now. I feel like we're working hard in the conference. I love Luol. He's my brother. But when that ball goes up, he's not going to be my brother when the ball goes up."

Also Kevin Durant has been in pure beast mode lately. His last 11 games he is averaging:

In 11 games this month, Durant is averaging 37.0 points, 5.9 assists and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 52.2 percent overall and 39.2 percent from three. He has three 40-point games, a 50-point game and has been under 30 points just twice. - sb nation

Bulls win by 11 no boozer 27 DJ Augustin, 26 Taj Gibson and Dunleavy 22. Deng was 2-11 with 11 points 7 of which came from FT line.

Thibs for Coach of the Year. Eventually he'll wear out his welcome in Chicago because that's just how the NBA works; no coach stays in one place forever. But he is making chicken salad out of chicken **** right now.

That's just it though. The Bulls had the perfect opportunity to get a high lottery pick to add to an already great team and Thibs is making it impossible by running his starters into the ground to get his *** kicked by the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs. He played Butler 60 minutes in a regular season game for crying out loud.

He's a great coach, but if he wants to be successful, he's going to have to realize that there are pyrrhic victories in the NBA and it's a marathon not a sprint.

I don't follow the NBA that much but last night I caught some of the Suns-Pacers game and what Jeff Hornacek is doing in Phoenix will get him votes too.

He's been successful doing what he's been doing - three playoff trips, one conference finals appearance and one coach of the year award in three seasons on the bench.

He's just stuck in a crappy situation. The front office wants to position the franchise for the future and Thibs is coaching for the present. And yeah, his starters shoulder a heavy workload but who on this bench would you give more minutes to?

any of them. 60 minutes for a player is a fireable offense.

Sometimes you have to live with a less talented player on the floor for five minutes a half. The funny thing is he's a good enough coach to scheme around it but he just refuses to do it. It will cost him at least this job and if he doesn't learn any job he takes in the future as well.

Not so sure the Heat win three straight.

Yeah, looks like the Pacers might be up to the task come playoff time. They're the #1 defensive team in the league, but boy did the Suns put a whoopin' on 'em last night!

It's a shame the Suns lost their starting PG for maybe the rest of the season. The Dragon is amazing, but can't do it all by himself. They are awfully young and probably get two first round picks in this years draft. Put all that with the best young coach in the league, (an ex-Clone, for that matter), and the future looks bright!!
