Any O.A.R. fans here? I've been a fan for quite a while now. Got to see them play at Stephens back in 2005, and then caught a show last fall. Tonight they are playing a free concert on campus here at Ohio State (where they attended school) for Homecoming. Should be a good time. Any favorite songs? Personally my favorite is "I Feel Home."

Seen them live 4 times and been back stage every time with them (Best friend from military lived with Jerry at Ohio State) and they are all a great group of guys and a lot of fun to hang with.

Favorite song - "Crazy Game of Poker"

I'm down with O.A.R. Saw them live at the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines awhile back. Very good show. Favorite song is probably Hey Girl (live at MSG).

Seen them probably around 10 times.. Great shows and time with friends... Seen them in Omaha/cb... Sioux city, dm, Minneapolis, and kc.. Meet them after one of the Omaha shows.

I saw them last fall at Ohio University (OU around here but that's weird to me) and bumped into Benj and Richard at the bars afterwards. Very down to earth guys, chatted with a fan for a little while (even though I may have consumed quite a few adult beverages that night...)

I don't know what it is about a oar concert but I tend to always over indulge!

I saw this thread and instantly thought of "Heard the World." It is now playing on my spotify.

Damn good song (among others), damn good band...need to go see them in concert sometime.

OAR is from about 35 mins from me...I’m a huge fan, more of their old stuff though. My freshman year of HS, I was at the concert they did at the 930 club that became their live album "Any time now." The whole album is amazing if you were there or not. "Delicate Few" and "Get Away" are my two of my favorites. I've seen them prob like 6 or 7 times and each time it seems more mainstream then the one prior (NOT hating) but last year I heard they did a show at the 930 club playing the same set list as they did for the album "Any time now" that would be special. Anyway if you haven’t heard the album please give it a listen. “I feel Home" is definitely one of their best tracks, its a classic in Maryland!!

Seen them at House of Blues in Chicago and Vegas back in '01 and '02. They are a great live show and I can't believe I missed the Val Air show this year. Poker is my favorite song. Would always be our closing song at the bar.

Saw them in 00-01 in Lincoln. Fun show, attracts douchey frat guys but it was good. King of the thing is a great song.

Original aspect ratio? Huge fan. Can't believe people were cool with pan & scan for so long. Black bars forever!

Was a pretty rockin show tonight. The guys were really excited to be back at Ohio State. They started the show playing with the whole marching band. Lots of fun twists that they always add. Always fun!

Also was there in '05. "City on Down" is their best IMO

City on Down might be my favorite as well, it's especially great when they play it live. I've seen O.A.R. in concert four times, and definitely need to see them again sometime soon. Always put on a fun show, and although I haven't liked their newer music at much, they are still a solid band. Listening to them right now as I'm studying for my exam this afternoon.

I was at that show in 2005 as well. Awesome time. That really takes me back. They let people record their shows so you can still download a direct sound board feed of that show and most of their others.

Of A Revolution Live at CY Stephens Auditorium on 2005-11-05 : Free Download & Streaming : Internet Archive (Their 2005 show in Stephens)

Wow, me and the wife were at this show a year after we graduated. I was never a huge O.A.R. fan prior to the show (crazy game of poker got WAYYYY overplayed when I was in school), but this show was b.a.d.a.s.s. I've been to a lot of concerts, but this one was unexpected and special.. We had about 20th row on the floor middle-left, and I still remember looking up at the crowd behind me late in the show and absolutely, every, one of them were dancin'.

I've been a fan ever since. Any of you students that get a chance to see a show @ Stephens, don't pass it up....even if you don't think you're a fan. I've also seen Widespread Panic and Gov't Mule in Stephens. It's got great sound and a cool atmosphere.
