A guy bet $100 on the Rays to win the World Series at the beginning of the year in Vegas. So he stands to win $25,000 if the Rays can close the deal.

That's one (of MANY) reason(s) it sucks to be a Cubs fan. Because no matter how bad they are, you'll never get those kinds of odds. Simply because there are way too many Cub fans that will make that bet. On the flip side, Vegas probably isn't THAT concerned that it will ever happen. But, still. Better safe than sorry...

I love how he hedged his bet by putting money down on the Phils to win the series. So he will end up ahead no matter what now.
