I happen to be flipping channels tonight and came upon the Mike Brey coaches show tonight. They showed highlights from the Big East Tournament, and there big guys really now how to post up, I am really concerned when it comes to rebounding and stopping there big guys in the paint. Oh yeah, there guards can also shoot the 3.

They had high praises for Iowa State, saying we played like Marquette, and Villanova. Also, they mentioned that Jack Lacey's girlfriend and family are Iowa State fan's. One of the player's had also played with Niang. Just found this all interesting listening to there perspective.

Now let's take Notre Dame down!

I too concerned about their bigs posting us up. We don't have the D down low or the fouls to give....BUT, 3 pts are better than 2, so hopefully we can get more open looks.

I'm thinking ND's rebounding advantage will be minimized by all the long rebounds that 3-point shots generate.

Gonna be much tougher to get open looks. They play tough tough D. Ball movement is going to be essential.
Yes it will, it is night and day how the offense flows when they move the ball around. I wish CFH could show the players the difference between when there is ball movement vs when there isn't like in the Clock Work Orange but there is that whole stupid human rights thing.

We will rebound better on the long ones, and they will have to shoot more threes than usual to keep up. But we could really use a big performance from Booker, and/or Gibson passing out for an open three if he's swarmed.

I just hope Ejim and Niang stay out of foul trouble, Lucious and Clyburn come to play, and we hit a high percentage of shots!

I have a gut feeling Booker could have to play a big role for us against their bigs. If he plays smart on D, he has the size to hold his own and grab some boards for us.

The offense is 10x better when the shots being taken are off ball movement, rather than just stand-still 1 on 1 ball. The real question is if ISU is off shooting threes, and that is a possibility can they still find a way to win.

The one ND kid said he was friends with Georges and pronounced it with the S. Either he really didn't know him or he was pulling his chain.
