I really like the way Verdon plays, but this makes me like him even more. I didn’t think his absence would make that big of a difference, but apparently it did.

Also, what happened to Gerry Vaughn late in the game? It looked like he was reaching for the tackle near the sideline and may have hurt his shoulder.
