NOTEBOOK: Meyers returns, Chandler emerging, Warren leads

I, for one, would love to see Mitchell Meyers leading the team onto the field on Sept. 3rd. Let the big guy lead everyone out...he's earned that and then some.

Seely may be a good leader...probably great person and hard worker.

playing time? No

This is what i don't like. Sure, Seeley has struggled to this point in his career, but how many times have we seen the light just come on instantly for guys going from their Junior to Senior year? Jeremiah George, Deon Broomfield, Jevohn Miller, etc.

It's not like he can't get any better. I bet we see a much more confident Seeley making a few plays this year and showing immense improvement. Clearly (as you stated) he's working hard and being a great leader, two great qualities for a Senior.

Sometimes players rise to the occasion. Knott & Peters hung up the cleats. It's do or die time for Seeley.

norcalcy, thank you much for the reminder AND the link. I just donated, and not sure I would have had the idea thrust to the front of my mind if you hadn't posted.

This kid has been through so much. Let's get them to 5k!
