Woof I hope these aren't true but it will be ugly if it is. Has a school in modern times ever dropped sports entirely?

Yeah I don't know what you'd do at this point.

How is this stuff allowed to still be happening? They keep saying we’re sorry for the hazing. Hazing is one thing and wasn’t what got Fitzgerald fired. What happened there was sexual assault. How does the AD still have a job?

I don't think "violated a verbal agreement" will hold up well. He probably knows that Northwestern will likely settle on this.

Wonder if Iowa will stop recruiting his son who plays QB. They're probably still a little sensitive about parents who file lawsuits against universities.

It’s about setting up his next coaching or coordinator opportunity, no different than tucker. He’s still young, if he gets a settlement it will go a long way to making his future employment palatable
