Biggest play of the game going for 2, why not call a timeout and get everyone on the same page? Same thing happened in the Big 12 Champ. Brock is notorious for freaking out when he’s not settled.

I'm all for running the play when you have momentum. A senior laden team should be able to take advantage of the situation.
That 2 pt try was a cluster F. We did things we rarely ever do (huddle and go under center). Why change everything up during the biggest play of the game?
Also worth mentioning that last drive was the worst clock management I’ve seen
We got the score so I don't mind the clock management.
Like @JStanz51 and Gray said post game - why run every play out of shotgun the entire game....and then for the 2 pointer you go under center? That to me just invited the possibility of a bungled snap, and that's precisely what we got.
We scored a TD with under a minute with the opportunity to tie the game and leave minimal time for Baylor to have a shot at points. Not sure what else you could ask for in that situation.
