No Love for ISU BBall

I don't see us finishing 11th in the Big XII. We finished 7th last year, which was ahead of expectations. (Most people picked us to finish last as I recall). I expect to be at least as good, and probably better than last year.

We are flying below the radar, right where we want to be. ISU will surprise people this year.

Really? Could be tough with the freshmen guards we will be playing. If they turn out like a Stinson or Blalock it could be okay. But if not, it could be a long year.

Did anyone catch the humor ....

"Sean Haluska, who scored 19 points fewer than hi brother Adam during his senior year of high school. The younger Haluska spent two years at Indian Hills Community College, thus a transfer to Iowa is unlikely."

The question mark remains the point guard position. I don't think Diante will commit much more in the way of turnovers than Taylor did.

No returning guards is what people will see and get scared away. College is a guards game and we have no proven players yet. It is going to be a fun ride, just going to be a little bumpy at first.

I would place ISU about 70th to 80th overall coming into next season, but I really believe that things could pan out to put them in the top 40. It just depends how fast everyone learns and develops. By the way, what is the writer of that article....18 or 19? Dude looks like it will be a year or two before he shaves.
