Maybe somebody talked about this in the last 36 hours....I may have missed it. But, the most exciting play on Thursday night for me was in the second quarter when we were driving and ran the ball down to the 10 yard line I think.....and the ball came loose. An apparent fumble?? No, the referee said he was down. The next 15 seconds were beautiful.
The coaches identified the situation and we ran a play within 10 - 15 seconds. There was no time for it to be reviewed and I think we scored on that play.
Quite a change from the Chizek era where we would have taken about 40 seconds to get the play off. I had friends watching on TV say it indeed was a fumble.
