after the Raiders voided his contract.

Nnamdi Asomugha misses incentives; Raiders void contract - NFL - SI.com

Curious if they will try to resign him. If not, he will be an incredibly hot commodity this off season. The guy is as close to a shutdown corner as you can get.

Asomugha was targeted on just 33 pass attempts this season. He allowed 13 completions for 205 yards and no touchdowns

probably going to have a high price tag, though.

Crazy. Methinks the 13 completions, only 33 attempts and giving up just 205 yards would be the stats teams would want.

Hard to pick off the ball or cause a fumble when they won't throw it at ya.

as a raider fan i am outraged by this but from what i understood is that he put/wanted this clause in his contract ... with that being said the raiders are already paying him top notch $, so i dont see why they wouldn't try to make him another offer ... also if you read the afc west espn blog from bill williamson? he said that asomugha thinks highly of al davis because he drafted him and he has never been reluctant to pay him his worth ...

He is going to land a good size contract. I would love him in KC if they had a spot for him.

 :nah: im gonna guess every team would have a spot for a shut down corner like him

I don't believe the Patriots would take him, his price tag is way high and I think they have something in the rookie Devin McCourty

Someone said something about him landing at the Jets. :skeptical:

I know it won't happen but I'd love to see the Broncos get him to replace Champ and then either trade down out of the No. 2 spot in the draft or take Nick Fairley

Broncos need a coach first....

John Fox is not the answer

From what I've read, the Raiders had no choice in the voiding of the contract. Sucks as a Raiders fan, but Nnamdi is a huge Al Davis fan, so I'm not too worried that they won't re-sign him.

the chiefs could really use him to supplement the rest of the young defense. our D would solid next year if we could sign him

It's been noted that Charles Woodson and Nnamdi are best friends dating back to their coinciding days in the Silver and Black.....
