Hopefully Barkema doesnt turn out to be injured. But Nickel is probably just out working him in practice and want to give him a shot. What i hope is that they are equally good players and Mac doesnt want to play favorites and will alternate them starting.

Did you guys hear Mac on his TV show say that Nickel just had his knee scoped about a week before last week's game? Kind of concerns me that a guy that is only 2 weeks out from having a scope done is beating out a starting TE.
