While baseball may be worried about silly things like cheating and drug usage the NFL knows where the real problem lies. Celebrating.

Apparently on the list of actions deemed unacceptable:

sack dances; home run swing; incredible hulk; spiking the ball; spinning the ball; throwing or shoving the ball; pointing; pointing the ball; verbal taunting; military salute; standing over an opponent (prolonged and with provocation); or dancing.

Next year the NFL will determine that after any scored touchdown, the person who scored will have to go hug each player of the opposing team and say that they are sorry.

Too many rules! I get player safety and such, but emotion is part of sports.

soooo...just stand there awkward as hell in front of 80,000 people in a stadium and millions of viewers at home after scoring a huge TD?

I hope every player in the league rebels against these "no fun" rules and just stares blankly at the camera for about 5-10 seconds then goes to their sideline after a TD. Could you imagine if EVERY football player in the league did this?

It would seem that the NFL would cream themselves with delight.

I want the opposite. I want every single touchdown scored to be filled with dances and taunts and "shoving the ball."

Speaking of the CFL, they do it right..

Looks like cartwheels, flips, and chin-ups on the cross bar are still allowed. Those are plenty of ways to have fun after scoring a TD. Now pointing, on the other hand, crosses the line and should earn an immediate fine.

I think if you point, they chop off the finger. A may can still catch with 9 fingers - but I guarantee he'll never point in a game again.

So pretending to sit on a toilet leafing through a magazine and pooping the ball is still ok!!!!

Still wanna see it.

Fun is wrong. So very wrong.
People should not celebrate the rewards of their hard work. Stoically nod and move along quietly.

My next agenda item is to eliminate that rowdy cheering from the fans. A silent game would be a much better experience for all.

I propose we just don't allow fans in the stadium at all, it's likely all that cheering that leads to players thinking they're having fun.

Ok this is awesome though.
