I've been out of the winders environment for quite a while. Bought my wife a new laptop with Win 8 installed. It came with no DVD drive or a Windows install disc.
While completing the purchase the sales guy noted this and said for $30 I could bring it back and they'd create a Windows 8 install disc for it.
Anyway...I figure there's gotta be a way I can do this myself (to a USB drive). Is the below article describing more/less exactly what Best Buy would do for $30?
