My favorite band of the past decade. If you’re an old millennial who grew up in small town Middle America, these guys are telling the story of your life.
I saw their first show in Des Moines. It was at Wooly’s in 2013. The group I was with pregamed at Locust, and the band walked in before the show. They clearly didn’t expect to be recognized, but we did. They hung with us until they had to go in, and then invited us onto the bus after the show. They were great dudes, very similar to us, and that show was absolute fire.

I saw them twice last year. I don't know, I guess it's not for me. Sounded like a bar band from Oklahoma...
To each their own, Turnpike Troubadours is one of my favorites!
I listened to it at 2:30AM feeding my newborn. Great album. A little more relaxed than their older stuff, but very much them and Shooter's production fits it well.
I was a little bummed when I found out there were 2 covers, but I love both of the songs they chose to cover, and they did an excellent job. I know Evan's a huge Jerry Jeff Walker fan, and that really fits as the album closer. There's a big Jerry Jeff vibe all over the album.
This is a very very very long shot. Anyone live in the Raleigh, NC area and wants to go to the turnpike troubadours show this Sunday in Cary?
We bought tickets months ago because the troubadours are my favorite band but then we scheduled a vacation and can’t go. My wife has tried to sell them on Facebook for face value ($100 for 2 tickets). That’s less than we paid due to fees. Anyway, at this point I would be happy for anything. The tickets are in an email that I can send.

Seen them live a bunch of times. First since Evan has been out of rehab though. Fantastic show!
