Recently, the women's teams Director of Basketball Operations, Michelle Roberts, took a job at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Coach Fennelly offered who was-to-be this year's men's graduate assistant, Josh Carper, the Dir. of Basketball Op's in the women's program and Josh accepted. The men's team then hired Freddy Owens, who played for Wisconsin, to step in as the new GA. Congrats and welcome to the Cyclone family Freddy!

What is the role of a graduate assistant as it relates to the team?

I assume he'll be doing a lot of scouting reports since this has been a staple of Bill's coaching going all the way back to his Davenport days.

Players always talk about how the Twister Sisters have some of the best scouting reports in the nation

Great News for Josh he has been with the men's program for the last five years. So he was on Wayne's Staff and Greg's. He will help that program out alot with their scouting reports.
