New Defensive commit

Campbell just tweeted he got a pass rushing commit.
Iowa State has picked up a commitment from DE Eyioma Uwazurike, a source tells AllCyclones.com. Huge kid and former Toledo commit.
 
Just have to say that I love the intensity that this staff is showing on the recruiting trail but I can't even imagine what this board would look like if we lost a coach we loved who then took almost every person on his staff with him AND then started taking kids who were previously committed to us.
No question that he's ALL IN though!
 
I'm not even going to attempt to pronounce this kid's name. Nice pick up though. Campbell is systematically dismantling Toledo.

I used to have an issue with this kind of thing, but not anymore. It's a cutthroat business. If Rhoads had left us and taken another head coaching job somewhere else you can be sure we would have lost some guys that would have left with him. That's just the norm now.

Look at what Cael did to us when he left for Penn State, and all the guys he took with him.

Is this the part where we complain about offers or what? I'm kidding. It's nice to see the fanbase have a positive attitude toward recruiting.

Your right we wouldn't and as Cyclone fans we have endured our fair share of pain, so for us to finally be on the receiving end of these positives I'm perfectly fine with it. I've taken way to many nut shots and gut punches along the way to give a damn about this one.

Positive because he is getting three and four star guys, not a bunch of 2s like Rhoads, Rhodes, or Rhoades.

5. Chase Allen TE (Favorite long term player, but looks like Michigan wants him now)

10. Eyioma Uwazurike DE - YES!!!!!

Toledo got in him early and had he not flipped Tennessee and others would have pressed. He was pretty committed to cambell and co. Scouts midwest analyst said he is the steal of the class.
