New Bowling Alley in Ames

Maybe if they find a compromise between price and quality there would be a little more demand...

Is that what the perfect games sign that has been up for about a year is all about? It's said that it is coming soon but I really didn't know what it was.

People still bowl? You mean other than on the wii?

I don't own a Wii yet

Maybe I should start a "Help Flag Guy buy a Wii" funding drive...

(*HINT HINT*)

Just kidding. Soliciting funds while on a government computer is one of the things that could actually cost me my job around here...

I'll repost this from my home computer

A couple years back I heard rumors that they were going to build one by West Town Pube...guess they were true. It would have been nice if it was there while I lived out on Steinbeck.

We joined a bowling league this year for the first time and had a blast. $12pp per week and you got three games, a pitcher of beer and a pizza... Not too bad for Tuesday night entertainment.

Same guy who owns WTP is building it right across from the convenience store there.

Awesome, that area of town needs some help to fill up all those vacant apartment buildings.

The gentleman who owns Westowne is a part owner in the new bowling alley being built.

I see BMF already beat me to it.....

Yeah, MU doesn't count. I've been in 20th Centuries sunday night leagues for the past few years and I am very excited about a new alley going up, that is until I see the new prices...

So, is "Pube" a random spelling error, a Freudian slip, or an inside joke?

It's hard to tell, sometimes....
