I will just be glad when he chooses a team that is not in the Big 12 and not on our schedule.
why not come to ames and win a national championship as a freshman. Way better story than going to be an average player(compared to all their alumni) at north carolina like somebody else we all know.

I saw a video about Tilton the other day. At the end Georges was joking with him about how he should commit. He said people wanted him to shave the school logo into the back of his head, then turn around to reveal his choice. Georges said that he should shave a cyclone into the back of his head.

That is something I will never understand, Fred Had offer from Blue-bloods, and Chose Iowa State. I think His career turned out fine. Our team is 1 to 2 pieces from being a national championship contender. If I was a kid who had connections to Ia state in any way and I knew that I was that piece, I would come here in a heart beat. Especially if I was from Iowa. If you are an NBA talent, you are still going to the league whether you play in Ames or Lawrence. Were in the Big 12 for ****** sakes, its not like we are in some **** league. I hope Fred can show kids his path and why it was such a good one for him, and why Ames is the right place, again especially for local kids that are top talents.
Fred was also a hometown boy though. He grew up with the Cyclones. I'm sure it would have been a different story had he been from the east coast with no ties to ISU.
ISU also doesn't have a chance because there is no room for him unless he wants to play for free.
