I think that we need to be proactive and get to 14 like the ACC.

If Oklahoma comes to their senses and commits to the Big 12 we need to add these teams:

- BYU (to replace A&M)
- TCU
- Boise State
- Louisville
- Cincinnati
- Air Force

I think WV will go to SEC. Pitt & Syracuse are off to ACC. I think if B1G adds they'll go for Rutgers and maybe UCONN to grab up Big East teams (they still have space to add ND before getting to 16... maybe ND commits because of the craziness and it's Rutgers and ND to B1G).

I think we need to grab logical members of Big East that make geographic sense (L'ville, Cincy & TCU). Then we need BYU, Air Force & Boise State before Pac-12 gets them. After that the quality goes WAY Down. That way we have the highest quality teams we can get before Pac-12, SEC & B1G add them..

Plus we own the Big 14 & Big 16 trademarks right? :-)

Divisions:
EAST
Iowa State
Louisville
Cincy
Missouri
Kansas State
Kansas
Texas

West
BYU
Boise State
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech
Baylor
Air Force

USF instead of Cincy and UCF instead of Boise St. Gets the conference implanted into the FL market and offers great road trips for ISU fans. Talk about conference "bowl games"! I wouldn't go too far West outside of BYU and AF. Boise has a great FB program, but what else do they offer outside of wresting and FB?

9+5 = 14, 5+9 = 14, going to be hard to get to 14 in the second equation, the big 12 isn't likely to stay together, otherwise ACC would not have fired the first shot..

texas is going to pac 12 now.

I don't think I'd welcome Texas to my conference if I was the commissioner of any conference right now. You're immediately bringing instability into a stable situation if you do.

Texas is used to getting everything they want, including a bigger share of conference revenue than everyone else, as well as their own TV network.

Just be careful what you wish for.
