Need for SeatGeek app on each phone at the game.

I wanted to share some information I gathered this morning about online tickets at the game in Dallas. They said that a group sitting together can leave the groups tickets on a single phone for entering without any real issue.
However..... after entering people will be stopped at different points for verification of their tickets. If you don't have it you will not be allowed back to the seats.....
So if someone goes to the concessions or the restroom, they will have to take the phone with the tickets with them to get back or the person with the phone will have to go along. This may create problems for some groups. We have chosen to add the seatgeek app to each persons phone and send the individual tickets to each person. This will allow each person to roam around without someone escorting each person or sending their phone with everyone. This was the official response from the folks at AT&T stadium when I called them this morning. I hope this helps everyone so that they are not surprised when they get to the game.

Hmmm... I tried doing a screen shot and it gave me a heads up and said a screen shot will not work for entry. Don’t know about leaving your seats though.

Probably to prevent ticket fraud from scalpers and the reselling of those.

I believe you went through the work of figuring this out. What I do not believe is that a screen shot will not work. WTH, how can anyone expect to have cell phone reception at all times around the stadium? Also, a screen shot would certainly provide evidence of your seat, as well as scan. A lot of people can barely work their phones.

If you have the app, you don’t need reception. It’ll load it onto your phone.
