Need a Football Fix Before Sept. 3?

Caught the following post on another site and found it interesting - didn't know that Ellsworth was that good. :wideeyed:

Not sure if many are aware but there is a meaningful August football game scheduled.

The #3 ranked Ellsworth Panthers take on #8 Georgia Military in Iowa Falls this Saturday @ 1:00pm in a game that may have National Title implications.

Should be a heck of a game between 2 high quality NJCAA teams and maybe hold you over for one more week!

But I just wanted to drop this in again from the NJCAA:

Talented quarterback Tirrell Rennie of No. 3 EllsworthCommunity College highlights the ’09 preseason All-American offensive team. Rennie led the NJCAA with 3,469 yards of total offense as he racked up 1,011 yards rushing and 2,548 yards passing. He rushed for 16 touchdowns, which tied for first in the country, and threw for 20 touchdowns.

Also returning for Ellsworth is talented wide receiver Quintin Robinson who led the country with 1,102 receiving yards and 10 touchdown receptions last season. His 88 receptions tied an NJCAA record as well.

I wasn't aware of that, cgwarrior33. I'll keep an eye on him Saturday.

It looks as though Wyoming has already offered him and ISU, K State, Okie State and Arizona State are recruiting him.
