Well written article essentially saying that Nebraska does indeed still suck!
Bottom line in the article:

"Maybe, Nebraska, if a school has a second conference relationship issue in ten years, it’s a You Problem."

Not that anyone in America cares but it is kind of fun that NUs crybaby bull**** is becoming national news. Of course, the old Big 8 little brothers (KSU, oSu, and us) have known all of this for decades. Nebraska fans think people hate them out of some sort of jealousy when that's never been the case. It's their weird duplicity and odd sense of entitlement that no one can stand. It's like we all have always known their championships were built on quicksand...and when they try to throw weight around it's just irritating. They're a campus sized eye-roll.

It's clear that they're just another program now. What's funny to me is how that move to the B1G was going to so obviously magnify that. They're on the low end of academics, enrollment, and athletic achievement across all men's sports. Even their stadium is unremarkable to their new conference mates. The B1G would've been better off with Mizzou.

Oh well, **** Nebraska.

The funny thing is that Nebby, due to its long period of non-success, is losing young fans in droves. What currently is the core donation crowd (adults over 65) soon will transition to a much smaller, less loyal group of donators. Yeah, success obviously would help, but it's only because Nebby has one Div 1 football team is the only reason that it isn't having a donation problem...yet. What do you do when you have a 90,000 seat stadium where the average seat requires a $500+ donation + ticket cost and you start to lose your attendees?

Fred is going to have to pony up. At least for the year or two that he's still there.

Mizzou was Begging the Big Ten for admittance but the B1G did NOT want the Mizzou Tigers and instead took Nebraska because of their Past Championship History, not knowing that was built on Walk Ons who had no where else to go, but now the Walk Ons go to UNI...So Dakota St, No Dakota State and wherever else they can get a Full Ride Schollie!

I said this in another thread, but I'll post it here as well. Nebraska mocked the Big 12 as they left, proudly proclaiming they had finally escaped Texas and how things were going to be so much "fairer" for them in the Big 10 (why things were unfair in the Big 12 in the first place was a large part due to them in the first place is another discussion). Meanwhile, everybody knew they were doing nothing but trading Texas for Ohio State. While Texas has been a harsh master over the life of the Big 12, they've got nothing on Ohio State. The irony is Texas has largely become irrelevant since Nebraska left and ESPN is looking to get out of that really bad LHN deal they made.

This is also another reason why when several ISU fans that say they'd gladly take Nebraska back into the Big 12 I look at them like they've lost their ******* minds.

Only for a geographically connected state would I take Missery or Nebraska back. Its kind of tough to be on a Island separated from the league. I think it is no secret that Nebraska not Texas was the biggest troublemaker in the final Big 12 meetings before the breakup. I actually don't think it is that big of a deal the Nebraska wanted to schedule a home patsy game, that has been their technique forever, but they also look very foolish pouting about being told no, we'll follow the rules we put in place before the season.

Remember how nauseating it was to hear every week about how Nebraska had the greatest, smartest fans in the country from people outside of the big8/12 who had no idea what they were really like? The rest of the country is finally getting to see it. With that said, the b1g is basically a cult. They want everyone to fall in line, shut up and enjoy their money. All of their bashing of Nebby a few months ago was BS, they ended up playing anyway. Nebraska was their scapegoat for how they botched that entire process. These two were made for each other, it's great to watch.

As much as I hate Nebraska. The Big 10 is the actual problem on this. They didn't allow for makeup games, they didn't allow Nebraska to play another team. They basically screwed over every team. The problem is Nebraska has a history of being a bunch of idiots so this looks bad on them. Truth be told. If the Big 12 handled the situation as bad as the big ten and screwed over Iowa State the exact same way. We would all be throwing a fit right now like Nebraksa. Saying all that. I love it. haha. F you Nebraska.

It still absolutely astonishes me how much Nebraska has dropped off so quickly. For about 30 years Nebraska was one of the top 3-4 programs in the country. They are nothing now and it’s pretty satisfying.
